Fidus Investment Corporation's Chief Financial Officer, Cary L. Schaefer, to Assume New Role
EVANSTON, Ill., Nov. 18, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fidus Investment Corporation (Nasdaq:FDUS) ("Fidus" or the "Company"), a leading provider of customized debt and equity financing solutions to lower middle market companies based in the U.S., today announced that Cary L. Schaefer, the Company's chief financial officer and chief compliance officer, will be transitioning from chief financial officer to a full-time senior investment professional role. The Company has retained Spencer Stuart to conduct a search for a new CFO. Until the Company names a replacement, Ms. Schaefer will continue to perform the duties of the CFO and will work to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities once a new CFO is hired. Ms. Schaefer will remain the Company's chief compliance officer.
